I try to go to local grocery stores instead of supermarkets. Well, to be honest, sometimes I fall in the dark side.
The thing is that every time I go to Astigarraga (believe me, that’s quite often) I visit a small shop where they sell seasonal vegetables and other local products.
Today, as soon as I’ve gone into the store, a sweet smell has enveloped me: Red peppers from Navarre baked this morning in Lezo. They were still hot, so I took some home.
Buying at local stores is not just an act of responsibility. It’s better for your palate, and probably for your health. Delicious!
